  • the amount of data transferred
  • Message as to whether the retrieval was successful
  • Description of the type of web browser used
  • operating system used
  • the previously visited page
  • Provider
  • Your IP address

2. personal data

Personal data will only be processed by us if this is permitted by law or if you have given us your consent.

In detail:

a. Contact

If you contact us, we will store your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter b) GDPR for the purpose of processing your request, as well as in the event that further correspondence should take place.

b. Newsletter

We would be pleased to inform you about our company and our product range in our newsletter.

To send a newsletter we need your name and your e-mail address. You can enter this information in the fields provided on our website. After you have sent this data, you will receive an email from us to the email address you provided, in which you must click on a confirmation link to verify the email address you provided.

Your data will only be processed by us for the purpose of sending you our newsletter. In addition, we store your IP address and the date of your registration in order to be able to verify your newsletter registration in case of doubt.

The newsletter is sent via "eMail Studio", a newsletter distribution platform of the cloud provider Salesforce ( Germany GmbH, Erika-Mann-Str. 31, 80636 Munich, Germany). The data protection terms of the shipping service provider can be viewed here:

The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as other data described in this notice, are stored on Salesforce's servers. Salesforce uses this information to send and evaluate newsletters on our behalf.

Furthermore, Salesforce may use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimize the distribution and presentation of newsletters or for statistical purposes to determine which countries the recipients come from. This data is used in a pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to a user.

However, Salesforce does not use our newsletter recipients' information to write to or share with third parties.

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the Salesforce server when the newsletter is opened. Within the scope of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are initially collected. This information is used to technically improve the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, it is not our intention, nor that of Salesforce, to monitor individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our contents to them, to improve them or to send different contents according to the interests of our users.

There are times when we direct newsletter recipients to Salesforce Web sites. For example, our newsletters contain a link with which the newsletter recipients can call up the newsletters online (e.g. in case of display problems in the e-mail program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients can subsequently correct their data, e.g. the e-mail address. Similarly, Salesforce's above linked privacy statement is only available on their site.

In this context, we would like to point out that our website and the Salesforce website use cookies and that personal data is processed by us and Salesforce, its partners and service providers (e.g. Google Analytics). We have no influence on this data collection. For more information, see the Salesforce Privacy Statement linked above.

In addition, we would like to draw your attention to the possibilities of objecting to the collection of data for advertising purposes on the websites and data subjects in the European Union area).

Further information can also be found under point 3 - Cookies - and point 4 - Google Analytics - of this data protection declaration.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 letter b) GDPR, or your consent by clicking on the confirmation link and thus Art. 6 para. 1 letter a) GDPR).

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and thus object to the further use of your personal data. At the same time, your consent to sending newsletters via Salesforce and to statistical analysis expires. A separate cancellation of the dispatch via Salesforce or the statistical evaluation is unfortunately not possible. You will find a link to revoke your consent at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send us an email to marketing(at)

Our website measures conversions using visitor action pixels from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook").

This technology makes it possible for Internet users who have already been interested in our page to address our partners' websites (e.g. Facebook) with advertising. We are convinced that the insertion of personalized, interest-related advertising is generally more interesting for Internet users than advertising that has no such personal reference. The insertion of these advertising materials on the pages of our partners is based on a cookie technology and an analysis of the previous usage behaviour. This form of advertising is completely pseudonymous. Of course, no personal data will be stored. Retargeting technology is used in compliance with the applicable legal data protection regulations.
